[ Physical ]

Tasuki was taken in by the bandit leader of Lige-San Mountain and raised to be like--and carry on after--his mentor. Tasuki is skilled in martial arts and rivaled even that of Tamahome during their fight. His style was never clarified, but it is likely native to China (as that is where he is from).

[ Celestial ]

As a Celestial Warrior, Tasuki was born to protect and aid his priestess. He has a constellation on his right forearm that glows red during periods of elevated chi (or occasionally at will). His powers are gifted from Suzaku, god of the south in which his priestess is able to summon when all warriors are present.

All warriors have a baseline of power that separates them from the average human. For one, their will power is much stronger, thus enabling them to overcome impossible feats an ordinary human might succumb to. They're by no means immortal; however, their tolerance has a much higher threshold. In addition, they are several times stronger than the average human. It enables to battle for longer periods of time as well as endure attacks that would kill a person. (i.e. smashing into a wall with minimal injury). They are still prone to injury.

Tasuki's unique celestial power is enhanced speed. He is the fastest warrior among all others, though not it's always as useful.

[ Weaponry ]

Tasuki wields a hardened harisen. Perhaps his most used form of combat, and his signature attack. His iron fan is no ordinary weapon and one capable of great damage. Tai Yi-Jun powered it up further and hardened its exterior. Her influence also made it so that Tasuki is the only one to use it.

When Tasuki chants this phrase, his harisen produces varied amounts of flames to incinerate his targets. At first he could only perform waves of fire, but he has honed his abilities further. In order for him to narrow his attacks to certain targets, he has to concentrate a great deal. When he focuses his fire, he do various things such as:

Spit the waves in multiple bodies of fire that can be casted upon his enemies.
Concentrate to a spherical shape, big and small.
Manipulate it into a fire twister.
Make a platform beneath his foe where fire will spew out from under them.

The greater the attack, the more concentration it requires, and the more fatigued he becomes if he overdoes it.
